A Little April Humour

Wednesday, October 16 at 11:00 A.M., in the Media Services Seminar Room on the ground floor of the Paul Meek Library (UTMartin), Mr. Jack Simpson, will make a presentation intitled "A Case Study in the Globalization of Agriculture: The International Operations of a Local Company -- Advance Seed of Fulton". Mr. Simpson, who has been President and C.O.O. of Advance Seed in Fulton, Kentucky for the past six years, is experienced as a production engineer for Lear Siegler and supervisor of a major computer facility at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.

The parent company of Advance Seed is Limagrain, which is now the 3rd largest agro- business of its kind in the world and the 1st in Europe (with operations in France, the US, Brazil, Australia, Canada, Italy, Spain, Holland, Belgium, Sweden, Switzerland, Great Britain, Germany, Denmark, Chile and elsewhere).
